This thread is getting a bit long now. To help out the forum readers I shall summarize.
1. Kings & Pawns pranked the forum by using a stock internet photo of himself.
2. I challenged him
3. Lex called it disgusting trash talk
4. DerJager called it slander
5. James called it haemerrhoids ( weird one )
6. Alice called it schoolgirl gossip
Exactly what are they teaching at Harvard these days ? Are you sure you haven't got it confused with Hogwarts ? To be honest I'm not sure Harry Potter himself could get you out of this pickle. googleimageerasium !!

I'm back from Africa!
I met Lex 'I'm from Harvard' Rex who then set off to discover the source of the Nile.
James Claycomb is selling dictionaries, Alice filled up a suitcase
with diamonds and took the next flight back.
No sign of Kings and Pawns.
I wondered around for a few days, hired a guide and went exploring.
In a clearing in the jungle we happened upon this huge statue carved
from rock. It depicted an old smiling man wearing a hat.
My guide told me this was hallowed ground and we had to tip toe away.
So that was that.
Anybody know what is the best defence is against the Colle?

I suggest you play a reversed Colle (Colle with black). If white refuses to attack, black should not attack either. Eventually, White will be forced to move out of his defensive position as first. 😉
Funny detail: "colle" means glue in French, which represents it's idea quite good.
Back on topic: kings and pawns are just two of the pieces frequently used in chess, though it should be king (without s) and pawns. I wonder how this game would look like:

No, it's what, in principle and very vaguely, I should be. Although in theory, historically speaking, I should be a Gomarist, but I'm definitely not. Almost nobody here is, any more.
And that's as much as needs be posted on that matter...

Wow Richard. In case somebody is really interested: Calvin had a quite strict view on predeterminism. Gomarists believe in short that we are puppets filling in exactly what has been set for us before the world began. Arminianists beleive that we have some choice in the matter.
