The Sherlock Holmes 221B Baker Street reference was obvious, but I was too slow to pick up on the 1b vs 3b distinction at the time.

thaughbaer on the 5th October asked if the picture was really him.
K & P replied in the next post.

Fat Lady contacted the lad who took the picture and confirmed it was not.
This is what we all suspected.
A wee fib from K & P tripped up by Fat Lady.
Means nothing really but when it was back up with Lex Rex saying:
"The photos you saw or see, I guess he took it down, are him."

Because the natural question is now: why do they claim this picture was indeed k&p when he certainly was not it? What was the motive?
Whatever the reasons might have been - the picture itself I always considered entertaining, the same for anyones profile (in particluar mine, super entertaining). But the false defense of it later is the sad thing... it is sad, that other clan members get the stain of 'weird behavior' now, too...
That's what makes this so hilarious. I'll admit my first post on the matter was a little melodromatic. The guy was having fun with his profile. That doesn't exclude me from having some fun back. All I had was the google images picture. He must have thought I'd got some kind of dossier of information I was about to reveal. There was nothing else. If he'd sat tight that would have been the end of it. For some reason he panicked and took up GPs challenge to play three moves in a minute. They were all bad ones. Two were howlers. Who'd have thought that people would check things like joining dates ? I was nothing but super polite to him when he turned up. Clan Amercia!!! were anything but yet tried to take the moral high ground. Fun's over for another week... who's next ?

Both profiles (and pic) vanished within minutes of each other.
Then were updated and K&P's vanished again.
I too am glad RHP got the pupil and teacher back together again after all these years.
They were in same clan and never recognised each other, then one day...
