It is not uncommon for results between opponents to be slightly off what would be predicted by their ratings because of matchup styles. For example, it is entirely possible that given three players A, B, C, with equal strengths and ratings, that A beats B 55%, B beats C 55%, and C beats A 55% (!) For the sake of argument let us assume that all three players are rated 1750 and that A and B decide that they are going to have a match consisting of 100 games. At the end of this match, A's new rating will be approximately 1770 and B's will be approximately 1730. If they play another 100 games, their ratings will not change. So, my point is that while playing the same opponent numerous times may introduce some distortion, the amount of distortion is not significant.

Note "intentionally".

If you simply play a particular player a lot, b ...[text shortened]... rs from the RHP pool, there will be no rating distortion. This is simple maths, it really is.
z00t didn't respond to this, but carried his argument replying to other posts that are easier to argue against. This is "selective replying". There must be a rule against this somewhere. 😕

I suggest not playing the same opponent that many times.

It may be why your game lacks.

Lacks what, exactly??

With 63.7% wins as white

and

73.1% as black

I didn't think I was doing too badly here on RHP. Clearly I was wrong! Perhaps when you've lost your provisional status we can have a game. Then we'll redefine "lacks."

Mathurine xxx 😠

EDIT: btw... you know the guy who beat you in this game Game 3486506 ? Well I've just finished wiping the floor with him. If we were horses, I'd get backed and you'd get laid. Lucky you, then...

Those who responded in this post should have read the title correctly. What does ad nauseam mean? Punishment? I will be standing outside the Old Bailey with a cat-o-nine tails.

I don't know what dictionary you're using, but mine defines ad nauseam as "To the point of nausea; to a disgusting or ridiculous degree."

To the point of sickness See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ad_nauseam Playing the same opponent to the point of sickness is a crime punishable by 40 slashes of a cat-o-nine-tails

You will get a discount of 2 slashes but are still due to receive 42. HEHE! (Capt Cook's mathematics)
