What are everyone's favorite openings for white and defense for black?

I prefer the King's Gambit and French defense.

Benko Gambit d4.

alekhine defense against e4, nimzo against d4.

trying the sicilian kan though.

Ruy Lopez, King's Gambit or Morra Gambit as white, Sicilian or Slav as Black.

Adv. Caro, Reti Gambit French, 150 Attack, Open Sicilian (Freak Attack/Yugoslav Attack/Bxf6/Keres Attack/Undecided against the others)

Sicilian Dragon, Yugoslav Attack, Soltis Variation

Benko Gambit (I've really tried giving the KID a try, but things honestly seem too positional), Semi-Slav in CC as well.

And, as everyone probably knows, King's Gambit - both KNG and KBG, mostly KNG recently.

Semi-Slav isn't bad, but the Benko seems much better suited for amatuers OTB.

Agh, I just looked through a couple of your games.

It's 1.e4 e5 2.f4 exf4 3.Nf3 (Or Bc4) but NOT d4.

Once again, you guys should choose an opening. At your level it's not a good idea to use 2.f4 AND 2.Nf3 - they're totally different.

Kings Gambit vs e5;
Morra Gambit vs c5;
Panov-Botvinnik vs c6;
Advance vs e6.

As black
Open vs Ruy Lopez;
Benoni vs d4.

This covers 90% of the games I am likely to play.
