I am always like that. One day I'm 1400 the next I am 1300.

Happens when you play without much thinking.

Well like my opponent you have many, many games going also, so you could lose a bunch at one time and your rating could drop considerably...I guess the trick is not to play someone who is playing over 70 games !!! Unless of course you are too 😀

I find my rating suffers when I play >30 games. How Galaxyshield plays 500+ games and maintains such a high standard I will never know but kudos to the guy!

Yes, but he is close to expert level...What I wonder is where does he find the time, his games are now up to 544 !!!

Sometimes you just flatten out mentally and you have all those little clocks tick-tocking next to the game and you have to think of something.

I don't play too many games but once I started to pick higher rated players my rating suffered.

I have no problem with higher rated opponents beating me, it is when you are playing a person who is even with you in rating, and through the course of the game, their rating drops 200 points. Only because of the amount of games they have going...teaches a lesson though....always see how many games they have on the go, before accepting 😲
