One of the single greatest benefit of playing here is that the site keeps a record of all the games I've played. The PGN or FEN file can be transferred to my chess computer software and I can analyze to my hearts content. Even better, people can post their games easily on this board and ask for tips and suggestions without having to set up the position on a real board.
I can't see how playing even 1 game on this site is any disadvantage.
Computer Chess programs made chess huge to the outside world, but also wrecked chess ->cheaters, accusations everything.
In some ways I say Chess programs wrecked chess. Aside from convience and popularity, Chess would have been better off without computers probably-> no cheating, Fide and their Toilet stuff.
I think it's great you've come on to this site to whine.
The people who actually play here don't whine enough (.😲 ), which is one of my major bugbears with this site.
Please, tell all your friends, so they can come on here to have a whinge to.
This isn't a chess playing site, no it's simply here for people like the OP to vent their spleen. Free of charge.
