Hey, if you think 1300 pointers play bad with pieces going here and there, why not challenge me and defeat me (if you can)? 🙂 (No offense intended, just saving the grace for the 1300's which include me)

PM if you are ready for the game.
it was not an insult, just an observation of how 1300 games are. I'm only a bit over 1500, so statistically speaking a 1300 should win 1 game against my 3 wins in every 4 games played. not that bad odds really. 🙂 challenge coming in...

EDIT: you've got max number of games going on...

Anyone can use an engine at any time. On ICC, i had a 1300 playing in a 15 min tournament use an engine on me. He was killing me, and was a piece up in the opening. My rating was 1800+. I sent him tells, saying he was using an engine. He responded with "who me?" "Im not doing anything", blah, blah (incidently, this is the same reaction of the cheater i sent messages to in the game i posted here)
After i confronted the cheater on ICC, his game collapsed, and i quickly crushed him. I got an admin who was watching the game. He quickly aborted the game.
I went on the tie for 1st in the same tourney, getting a draw with a 2000 player.
I have played at least 100,000 online games, and can pretty much tell when someones using "help"
I wouldnt complain, but this one shouldnt get away with this

Yes I am at my maximum. I will pm you when one of my game finishes or rather start a game. Will 1 day timeout be ok for you? If you need, I will have 7 day time bank going as well..

Please PM me with the details regarding timeout and I will start as soon as possible.

What did you expect them to say? 🙂

100,000 online games doesnt relate to jack knowledge about engines. Im sure everyone here takes your cereal box engine expertise with the up most respect.

another expert.....ok mr. I know more then you. What makes YOU an expert?
and why are you defedning cheaters? Unless your one your self?
It doesnt take an expert to sense an engine. I spent a lot of time, reading articles, asking questions on ICC, Talking to people in the online chess business, read books on it. etc.
So i guess i am an bit of an expert.

My postal rating is 2020 and, like you, I'm sure some of my opponent's have been using engines, but they have always been 2100+ guys and it's only happened occasionally...not enought to worry about.

I'll play against their engines because on home pc's I don't think the engines play much above expert strength anyway. Just don't make any tactical blunders!!! Also, I have run into some 1400's I thought might be using some help, but eventually they caved in.

I guess what I don't understand is how it's possible to play hundreds of games, lose half of them, be rated 1300, and be using an engine. I would think engine users would win most of the time.

This person im playing has won 40 straight before losing in a game that looks like either 2200+ or 2 engines facing each other.
I had a 1200 on this site use an engine on me.
While I cant prove anything, i only have my instincts.
What i do have is a lot of comparison with human players, and computer chess. Having played many games with AI, and many with humankind.
If this person is so good, then lets check the elo, against the rating here.
It will take a while to reach a true rating, playing low rated players here, so you could be under 2000 for a while, and still win many games with "help"

Engines arent that strong at correspondence chess. A correspondence GM totally destroyed Hyrda for example.

sighs, you dont know **** so I wouldnt even bother to start to poke me. If you really have some expertise with engines please tell us all what they are? Have you ever tried to program an engine for example? If all you have is 100,000 online games.....well its funny.

and why are you defedning cheaters? Unless your one your self?

I'll give you my BCF card if it would make you feel better about yourself. But feel free to lob all accusations my way.

Right yes, total expert. Which books have you read on engines? ICC for the most part doesnt have engine programers on it, you are confusing it with playchess. Maybe you test engines for a living or program them maybe you spend weeks tweaking them for matchs, please do tell us.

sighs are you really that slow? A lot of correspondence sites and leagues allow engines that dont have any positional understanding at all and are only used for tactical checking. Any GM can outplay ANY engine positionally. Seems your expertise is falling a bit short.

and this has to do with this cheater here....what?....
who's slow now, flamer.
Have you ever heard of fritz?
Shredder? Deep JR.? Crafty? (a free engine)
Turn on anyone of these engines, input the moves, and presto! a strong move is generated!
You seem to be rambling on about something, i just dont get? maybe i am slow, maybe you need to read more carefully before puting in your 2 cents

I have an observation: No 1300-range player should be playing the Sicilian Defense - it's far too complicated and requires too much time studying opening manuals and memorizing lines.

Still waiting for your engine expertise credentials.

go and spend a week on playchess (mainly populated by club player/Masters) then come back and correct that comment 🙂
