I think Qe8! is better that Qf7 because it adds another threat....

with the Queen at e8, A rook sac is possible: (eg, Qe8 Rf2? Rxh3+ Kxh3 Qh5🙄

so the sequence must be: Qe8 Nf3 Qxe2+

1...Qe6 or 1...Qe8 and the

2.Nf3 Qxe2+ winning the piece.

And yes the rook sac is on the table if white plays some other move.

Ok, I'm not going to analyze to see if it works - if I were in this position otb (especially blitz) I'd play Rg3+ without hesitation.

Every time...

1. ...Rg3+
2. ...RxNg5

Removes the defender of the h3 and f3 squares so the white bishop can get in on the attack. Thats all I got so far.

Good work guys. I just wanted to mention that the f2 pawn is pinned incase some of you are wondering why Rg3+ is the solution.

In positions like this, Its always useful to know whether castling is a possibility.....

anyhow, the solution appears found.

Why?

It's black move and I don't think castling is important here anyways.

You spent time looking at it after the Rg3+ line and the following knight capture?

Black has nothing to worry about. His king is not in danger and White's pieces aren't a threat - Not co-ordinated.

Qd4 attacking rook and knight - if white takes then bishop re-takes and attacks both pieces again.
