Game 4156659
I don't see a black blunder and a good chunk of the game comes straight out of an opening book. I'd really like some higher level players to analyze this game, Fritz isn't finding anything.

you're missing the BIG picture!!

don't say that too fast,

they can do pretty much whatever they want in openings without much consequence...
I'm telling you, unless black can get some serious, hardcore counter-play on the queenside (which black obviously did not accomplish in this game) he is doomed.
instead of wasting the move castling, black should try to seize the initiative with central play, i.e. cxd4
u guys are mental... we have 2000 level players, GM's, Fritz all with opinions on this game/position and all of it conflicts with you two... there really isn't a question who's right... the blunder was gradual and positional. White played the best moves and black simply couldn't equalize.
and openings are MORE important at the GM level, not less.

we sucky people needn't care about openings.
and I've said that same thing!!!
I provided three moves above that I thought MOST crippled black's position.

I hate to say it but fritz is typically better tactically AND positionally than the average player... the 'average player' is used to describe a 13-1600 player...
p.s. If it finds an immediate win I will have to rember the queen + knight mate motif next time I play against the french. Oh and I will be above average just you watch
