'Ant' is the answer, but I did have a specific type of ant in mind.

Of the type of ant I had in mind there are over 200 species, and because of this ant's unique qualities the new (virgin) queens are wingless.

So for big bonus points, and an opportunity to win a brand new self driving car, can you name this ant?

13. Are you Platythyrea conradti?
No. I am generally well known, and am usually identified by my non-scientific name.

This is all fun of course and I don't wish to be a spoilsport, but isn't it a bit pointless having to google to find the answers? We've all heard of ants but offhand I only know the names of a couple of varieties
I suggest for future games we keep it more general.
