"world's oldest profession?"... Progress Report (30 March '10)

Unfortunately, zero progress to report.

Fourth Helpful Hint: This great, great grampy of 'prostitution' and great grandpa of 'murder' is not only alive and well but still functions at incredibly high level of octane on main streets, side streets, backstreets, alleys, Wall Street, Washington, D.C., cyberspace, internet blogs, chat rooms, public forums, bulletin boards, correspondence chess sites and elsewhere in penthouse suites, indifferent yachts, dark caves and other shadowy corners of the earth we dare not go. Despite the different venues, the means and learned skills as well as the premeditated ends are identical and unchanged from long ago. It's worst fear is being found out. ~gb

Everyone is going to be SO surprised to learn that this whole thread was part of your hidden agenda to try and deliver a limp wristed and underhanded insult at someone. You've NEVER done that before over one thousand times.

This is not a conversation. It is a means to your end.

Profession implies being paid.
Who invented money?
And what was the first thing he bought with it?

My parents used to pay the doctor with chickens raised on our farm.

With the thread shifted to Posers & Puzzles, can we now consider our friend Lucifer a poseur?

Professional doesn't necessarily mean paid with money. The broader use is that one earns their living through the profession, which in today's culture usually means they get paid to do it.

And wasn't Cain a shepherd? As I recall, the use of animals as food started after the Flood.
