For one thing, YOU will likely not have a house because it will be under water.
At that point who gives a rats ass WHO caused it? Trump wants to bring back COAL and OIL for krists sake, and we are trying to get over sucking up all the oil just to burn in engines where we know good and well the US is one of the main contributors to global warming but that knowledge means nothing when the country will be controlled by a dictatorship.
1. which countries caused this global warming
2. what needs to be done to rectify the problem.
3. who needs to do it
4. which countries are going to be specifically affected by global warming
1. Countries that caused global warming [according to you and if it is indeed a threat], are the advanced industrialised countries:
- USA
- Europe
- Japan
- China
2 & 3. These specific countries that caused the problem, need to change their production and consumption habits with less reliance on fossil fuels.
4. Countries mostly in line to be affected by climate change are most of the countries near to deserts in Africa and Asia, who had nothing to do with this global warming.
Basically you people who caused the problem, get off you butts, stop complaining and fix it. RIght now youall are trying to get the world involved and to change their consumption habits when the rich countries have celebrities flying their private jets from LA to Paris to eat cheesecake. You are the wasteful countries. You make the change.
@Rajk999
The world at large is filled with corporate greed, they don't give a rats ass whether their policies will raise the ocean by 30 feet, it won't happen in their lifetimes so in the meantime they are free to conduct their corrupt business practices.
That includes the US as well as Europe and Asia.
They are ALL to blame.
US has high greenhouse gas production because we were rich enough after WW2 to mass produce gas powered cars by the millions so of course we are stoking the supply of CO2 injected into the atmosphere.
There is an effort to convert to electrics, with its own set of problems which can be solved but in the meantime, Trump goes DRILL DRILL DRILL.
GREAT American is Trump.
@sonhouse saidJust STFU... moron. Rich countries are wasteful, greedy and selfish. The leftover food alone from all your households and restaurants can feed all the poor people of the world. You people buy more than you need and waste it.

Now if indeed this global warming is a thread [as you seem to think], you people need to fix it. Start by controlling your greed.
@sonhouse saidWe live in a shed on an island, eating fish and rice. You greedy people there live in luxury stuffing your faces getting fat and unhealthy, at the same time destroying the planet [according to you]. You created the problem .. fix it.
@Rajk999
MY greed. Right. Maybe you should bitch to Elon Musk or Gates or Arnault, THEY know ALL about greed.
@Rajk999
Good luck getting ME an 82 year old to have ANYTHING to say to ANYONE about corporate greed.
And I hope you well, I don't know your history, living in a shack is the first you mentioned of anything in your life, ONLY pushing your opinions which we think are BS.
You never talked about your home life before. But if I have it correctly, you ARE close to the beach and WILL lose your home, shack or not, if sea levels rise to any significant degree.
@KellyJay
Not yet, a lot of crap going on here at home, lots of doctors visits for one, job search for another, fraud in my bank account for another, several thousand dollars lost to people using my bank account as their personal ATM. I will get back to it though.
@sonhouse saidTry not to personalise everything. Im not interested in you, and I hope you are not interested in me. This is a chat forum and we are discussing here world issues.

In my part of the world we live simply, eat good natural food mostly and we dont waste.
In your part, you eat rubbish, stuff made in factories, you waste, you buy more than you need, then you throw it away. You have eating competitions to see who can eat 100 burgers in 5 minutes. You throw food at each other. Some of you eat and vomit it back out .. deliberately. You buy unnecessary rubbish to pack in your garage because your greed and materialism knows no limits. Most of you are fat, greedy and unhealthy. You people have damaged the environment more than any other group of people.
Hope you got the point : You people start fixing it
@Rajk999
Of course you are 100% correct, there is massive waste around the world even though the US is not the only country in that boat we certainly are in a huge boat🙂
I think the only way out of that is when sea levels rise say in another 50 or 100 years and there will be a self correction, global starvation because of lack of arable land and lack of fresh water and the like reducing the world population by half or more. THAT will get their attention but not much else.
Or WW3, thousands of nukes going off which offs say 80% of humanity and leaves the rest in a radioactive wasteland.
Either way, the CO2 goes down.
What that shows is the vaunted intelligence of humanity is way overrated.
@sonhouse saidWrong. There is no massive waste going on all over the world. This is the second time you said that. The massive waste goes on only in North America and Europe.

Actually when sea levels rise, it is the rich countries with ports, big beach resorts, rich people with yacths parked up in marinas etc etc, anyone near the sea who have no hills to live on, will suffer the most. We have hills .. lots. We good.
Like I said .. start fixing it.
@Rajk999
I thought you said you lived in Thailand? I did and SAW the waste there. I was there during the Vietnam era, as a civilian working on a military base, way up north, called Nakomphenam, I probably didn't spell it right. We called it NKP, a search and rescue air force base, now given to Thailand.
Anyway there was a bombing run one day where we woke up to MASSIVE bomb explosions I thought was like next door.
So got up and lo and behold, the actual bombing was across the river (we lived like a block away from the Mekong) and then saw the jets releasing bombs but in Laos not even here in Thailand.
Well the gist of all that, I could SEE the bombs as they fell that was how close we were to the actual bomb site.
Anyway, it was like a circus atmosphere in town, where right on the bank of the river was a massive layer of junk food salesmen hawking their products on the shores of the Mekong.
All well and good but the people and I mean LOTS of people, hundreds of them, on the shore consuming their goodies, and throwing the containers on the ground, which was COATED with small baggies containing the sweet drinks and such.
I was a bit shocked they would do that.
I saw much the same in my years in Israel and I saw waste, not as much for sure, but waste thrown in my years on Andros Island.
Which is not to rationalize the waste going on in the US. One thing, say 100 years ago or so, there was nowhere near the crap sold in markets as we see today, go to a checkout line at a local grocery store and there is hundreds of candy bars on racks right in the line where you pay for your groceries, another episode in the corporate greed thing going on.
Back in the day, you got maybe a Hershey bar and an ice cream cone or some such but now we are inundated with a plethora of candy and coke machines and forget putting in actual money, now you use a frigging debit card.
What civilization needs all that crap? How much less waste would their be if there were not so many of those machines and a grocery line checkout would be just that, buy your stuff and go home but now it is candy and National inquirer and Taylor Swift magazines, like we REALLY need all that crap.
THAT is what needs to stop but you can imagine the reaction to a dude taking that up on top of a soapbox in Times Square going STOP THE SODA MACHINES......
The gist of THAT is it is WAY too late for whistle blowers, they are the ones usually getting blown, blown UP.
@sonhouse saidYou clearly lack the ability to blame in the right people. Consumers are to blame. Not the corporations. Consumers are stupid, shallow, greedy and materialistic. If they were different corporations would not be able to sell all that junk. Again blame yourselves ... after that, get off your butt and start fixing the problem.

@sonhouse saidAd campaigns work because the public is STUPID. I keep telling you, Americans are stupid people. Also if your wife / family buys a load of nonsense, because of Ad campaigns, and you do not correct them, you are also STUPID. ... OWN IT, DEAL WITH IT. FIX IT.
@Rajk999
If they didn't do massive ad campaigns the public wouldn't buy that crap.
The problem with ads are they work. Personally I hate ads but that is just me.
I just talked to my wife wondering when the ad to program ration gets to 50-50.
