It wasn't meant to you personally. Fundamentalist creationists are all silly. You are just one of them.

If I want to discuss seriously, I would have more intelligent responses if I went to a kinder garten.

Silly creatioinsts, the group you belong to, haven't produced a shred of proof, yet they deny every proof delivered to you. That's what I call silly. You just want to discuss for the sake of discussion, nothing more. You are not able to learn anything.

Silly is the word.

Did I say the two swift's were not related? I don't believe I ever did.
Did I say evolution was an ongoing process? I don't believe I ever did.
Thats because the words coming out of your mouth are carefully avoiding answering the questions.
So, please answer the questions:
1. Are the two swift species related?
2. Is evolution an ongoing process?
3. Do you know what a species is?

Pay attention...If you look back I believe I said that animals adapt, but never change species as evolution pleads.
Which I showed was clearly false earlier in the thread - and I thought you had agreed. I could be mistaken.

OK we are around 360 something postings on this thread now and so far no proof of evolution being real. What's up guys? Can't find any yet?
Thats because you don't understand the concepts, and without that you cant understand the proof. You already admit that animals adapt, all that remains is to admit that they adapt via a natural process and you will believe in evolution.

“I am very astonished that the scientific picture of the real world around me is very deficient. It gives a lot of factual information, puts all our experience in a magnificently consistent order, but it is ghastly silent about all and sundry that is really near to our heart, that really matters to us. It cannot tell us a word about red and blue, bitter and sweet, physical pain and physical delight; it knows nothing of beautiful and ugly, good or bad, God and eternity. Science sometimes pretends to answer questions in these domains, but the answers are very often so silly that we are not inclined to take them seriously.”

How is that specifically related to a thread about evolution?

You give a quotation of a scientist, of an evolutionist.
Would you accept evolution if given by Schrödinger?
No, because you are silly, you're a fundamentalistic creationist.

perhaps if you discontinued your personal vendetta against creationists, you would get the import of the words, but i doubt it!

dont mention it, you poor uneducated evolutionists, can do with every scrap of illumination coming your way 😛

it struck me Noobster, as you were ranting on about our alleged ellitism, that if you behold the universe in its awesome majesty as truly wonderful, then you must be in the same predicament as this noted scientist, Oxford professor of chemistry, Peter William Atkins, who declared:' i regard the existence of this extraordinary universe as having a wonderful awesome grandeur. It hangs there in all its glory, wholly and completely useless'.

Is this not an apt description of those who have limited their scope to unintelligent agencies and who have a materialistic outlook.

Do you share Galvo's views with regard to Satan and evolution?

I'm having a vendetta against creation? I have a vendetta?
You are here preaching you religious silliness in Science Forum, and you think I have a vendetta? Please...

Creationism isn't Science, you should know that by now. You should go elsewere and preach your religion. As a religion, you can believe anything, it's your right. But when you say that creationism is science, you're just plain silly!

when you shall stop filling the spirituality forum with non spirituality then you may have grounds to state what may or may not be permissible in the science forum. As it stands i have enjoyed this forage into your domain! and until you get spiritual in the spirituality forum, well, what can you say....? i can state just as easily that evolution is unscientific as well, based on a flimsy premise, lacking evidence, full of postulation and other forms of religious dogma!

I am not at liberty to discuss what Galvo holds as his personal beliefs, he has his own mind and his own evaluations to make. if you would be pleased to comment on the quotation from professor Atkins, i would be pleased.

But I don't understand that you actually think your religion indeed is science? Isn't it enough to call it your religion? That's the silly part!

I don't say that the holy trinity is science and deny its spirituality? That's your domain, and I don't interfere with that? I don't say that the trinity is silly and it would be better to call it quaternity because Satan is a part of it? It's within your domain, it's not important to me.

But when you try to argue that evolution is false - of scientific reasons! And that you say that the creationism of yourse is plain science - of religious reasons - then you are plain silly!

I don't want to discuss Galvo's beliefs, i want to know if you share them?

You two share, as i can recall off the top of my head, identical beliefs no doubt owing to the fact you are both JW's. Is this belief in Satan and evolution held by Galvo shared by you?

With regard to Prof Atkins, i believe the universe is something way beyond the scope of our tiny little brains. But we as a species must conitinue the pursuit of our knowledge of it through logic and reason to try and understand it. Will we ever? Who knows. I know that i will never be able to master every aspect of playing the drums, but that doesn't stop me trying.

If it turns out that the universe is as a result of an intelligence of some kind, then so be it. It is what it is, and it will be what it will be.
