    Scientists Find Hidden DNA Code

Scientists have discovered a second code hiding within DNA. Since the genetic code was deciphered in the 1960s, scientists have assumed that it was used exclusively to write information about proteins. UW scientists were stunned to discover that genomes use the genetic code to write two separate languages. One describes how proteins are made, and the other instructs the cell on how genes are controlled. One language is written on top of the other, which is why the second language remained hidden for so long.

The genetic code uses a 64-letter alphabet called codons. The UW team discovered that some codons, which they called duons, can have two meanings, one related to protein sequence, and one related to gene control. The discovery of duons has major implications for how scientists and physicians interpret a patient’s genome and will open new doors to the diagnosis and treatment of disease.

How complex can it get? An I the only one on this Science Forum to see the need for a super intelligent programmer to program those codes in the DNA for life?

It's not new stuff that scientists finds new information in the DNA. That is what's going on since the DNA was discovered. You don't find any scribbling from any intelligent designer. It's evolution.

See the thread in the Spiritual Forum, where similar things are under debating: Thread 158120

Evolution is a result not a cause. Evolution has no intelligence.

Rightly so. Evolution doesn't depend of anything supernatural.

You are partially right. However, supernatural programming was required at the very beginning.

This is the Science forum. Then we should discuss scientific stuff here. Not about supernatural programmers. They are by its very nature supernatural.

If you want to discuss religious stuff, there is a Spiritual Forum where these discussions fit very well.

I did not use the term supernatural until you did. I just responded in an attempt to correct your understanding. However, it is up to you if you wish to remain ignorant.

If your intelligent designer isn't supernatural, then he has a name, right? Which happen to be...?

Let me tell you, you have a lot to learn in science.

That does not seem like a self esteem builder to me.

You beg for it. Seriously, you beg for it.

Get rid of the "The moron instructor". That isn't even a half-joke. That shows just how you think of yourself.

From now on, work on your self-esteem. Give people respect. Don't keep insulting people of the only reason they don't agree with you. There is not even one person on this earth of more than 7 billion of people that agrees with you completely. So you have to be a bit humble. Jesus was it, why can't you?

No, you bring it up under the guise of weaponized science.

The answer to your question is no - you're not alone.
