I think it would be a good idea to move the comments to the
bottom of the chess board instead of the top. Reason being
that I sometimes miss the comments because of the size of
my screen they scroll off the screen and I don't notice them.

On the other hand, I rarely (never?) scroll to the bottom of the page. Everybody HAS to see the top of the page, as that is what shows when the page loads first. Nobody HAS to see the bottom of the page.
