my board started with asparagus on my iPhone.
This is not the default, but the app is picking up your preferences from before, which now render a different board and pieces. I might need to revisit this, if it is too confusing. A quick fix though to reselect the correct set and board.

I play with alpha and asparagus too on Blackmode on an iPhone I have no difficulty seeing the pieces.
ps is there a way to share pictures here?

This is not going to happen, sorry.

It is not viable for an online service that intends to be around longer than a few years.

It's the captured pieces, and the build everyone is currently testing on has black pieces appear on a black background. This will be fixed once Apple approves the latest beta build for distribution.

Regarding a picture, just take a screenshot in app, and ok it, then you can send it to me via the TestFlight app automatically. It is rather useful!

ok that's fair, but then maybe add the three year plan on the app, its only visible on the web version, which I for one never/ extremely rarely use.

After receiving an opponent has moved notification and opening the app (already open in background) the game is not displayed and I have to refresh the screen to see the game (iPadOS 26.3.1)

Finally a new build has been approved by Apple - they really take their time with this sometimes.

v6.1.6 now available.

I like that the menu is no longer repeated (my move opponents move etc)

If I click on an opponent from the list I see their profile but if I do that within a game I see my profile instead
Also the recent ratings trend doesn’t look right but maybe that has not been imported yet

On rereading this, I am curious if there is a misunderstanding about this.

A sub on the web upgrades your account, wherever you use it, including both apps.

In fact, a web subscription avoids the high Apple fees, so is a better choice.
