Yes, I think that invite is getting a bit old, too.
The ironic thing is I sent over a clan challenge game to him against a >2000 player and he bounced it back selecting a 1300?! So, I've know idea what his game is. 🙄
Yeah,it's a shame that these games aren't deleted after a given time (let's say 1 day) that no one picks them up.

but there will be always cretins who thinks that is cool to have an open invite for days and days,realizing that a 2000 player won't bother to play or teach to a patzer.
(Ironman is an exception because he's super nice,but he surely don't pick up those invites)
He also has an open invite for someone 500-600. As far as I know, there is no one that low on the rating chart. In fact, it would be pretty difficult to get that low even if one tried.
Dustnrogers seems to be active again. Now has a rating in the 700's, but started some open invites for 1500+ players. Surely most know his reputation by now, and his real level of play? If I were a 1500 player I do not want to get crushed by someone rated 700 points lower than I am...
That dude just won't quit. He has another ridiculous, 6 day old invite out there. How about an ignored users list. If someone is on your ignored list, you shouldn't see their invites, and they shouldn't see yours.

I hate to have to bring this up again Russ but would you please deal with this Dork. He's on the Open Invites again with a challange to players (2400-2500) Let's get real for God's sake - there are only two of them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if a can answer you very valid question but ------
I can say that it annoys me when people list on the invites just to have their name there with about a zero chance of someone actually taking them up on it.
It annoys me to have to see it there every time I look at the list. I come here to play chess, not to see some guy do silly ego trips in a pathetic attempt to draw attention to himself.
Now, I will admit that is pretty sad on my part but then what can I say.
