    Can I suggest that you should only have to send 3 move reminders.After the expirary of the next one, You can claim a timeout. It would stop people delaying the game, when they are losing or are not serious about completing the game.

    In all games, even 21/21 games, the reminder appears after 3 days, so before the agreed upon time control has been breached, you could potentially have sent 14 reminders. Reminders really need to be game time control dependant.

    Also, as SS says, most people have them disabled.

    Why remind at all? Isn't it the responsibility of all of us to deal with the thinking times? If you're late moving then the skull shows up. If the opponent want to click it, then they have every right to do so? And to win the game at the same time?

    How do you know they are delaying the game because they are losing or are not serious about completing the game? Maybe they need more time to determine their next move when they are in a losing position. Maybe they are having internet problems, or a life. There are all sorts of factors involved in when people move. Stop sending move reminders. Maybe the clock will run out quicker if you think they're only acting because you sent them the automated message. Then you can move on.

    Well I suggest that reminders only surface a day before the (regular) time runs out. I get a lot of reminders even when haveing the vacation flag up AND a return date...
