...i would sincerely like to see ( for an option of those who do not wish to
nationalize their chess or persona ( that is a fancy word meaning YOU.)..anyway..it would like the site to put up three non-national choices...the romulan star empire flag, the klingon flag and the federation
flag ( i would have included the borg if they had a flag but all they have is a toolbox )..
please just keep the national flags just that.
it would be cool to add some iconic symbol for those who would like to represent an identity or personal other than the national flag
i like the flags because it is amazing to realize that i am playing guys from all over the world . .so cool! a klingon flag doesn't tell me anything except something that the person can say in his own profile or messages chats
there is an earth flag, and i see it being flown here and there by some advanced members of our species. seriously, this is a serious request. the flag i'm talking about exists, and simply has the earth photo (seen from space) over a navy blue background.
as for aliens from outer space needing flags for their planets, asteroids, etc., that's ok. of course, none of those are at this site, because they only play 3D chess (or maybe it's been updated to 4D by now).
do the developers even bother to read any of this?
There's a thread knocking about somewhere where someone suggests displaying no flag to denote an allegiance to this planet but when I see that I always think of people who wear dark glasses when they talk to you. I use the St George Cross to show my location but would love to have the EU flag to show my political affiliation.
