There isn't one!

Does everything true have to have a scientific explanation?

2nd greatest question?!

I think it may have jumped the queue a little.

Googling 'greatest questions' almost led me to change the title here. But top ten lists are subjective and fun.

It does seem though that even the science-minded skeptics are afraid to admit out loud that science has no clue here!

Is there no explanation because subjective experience isn't testable?

Does that mean subjective experience doesn't exist?

What does it mean that there's no scientific explanation for subjective experience?

The universe has always existed, in one form or another. It is just our finite concept of time that is limited.

Always? So it is not billions of years old, and this is science not just a musing about what might have been?

Prove it. I can just as easily say the universe was created. The difference is my assertion is based on the authority of the creator while yours is merely an opinion.

Your assertion about your supposed creator, and the supposed authority attendant thereto, is "merely an opinion" too.

Please explain why my assertion that the universe is eternal is an opinion and your assertion that God is eternal is not?

Both assertions are as unproveable as each other, especially as I give no authority or credence to your 'uninspired' texts.

That's the first greatest question! Or, why is there anything. Because if there weren't, we wouldn't know about it.
