Both of these guys can get very deep, listening to them talk to one another is a treat. The topics are wide and varied.

It's 1 hour 28 minutes long. Was there a particular bit of it you'd like to discuss?

Was there a particular bit of this one you'd like to discuss? I find Peterson interesting but, while some of what he says is worthy and thought-provoking, a lot of the time he is a grifter using word salad to wield very superficial takes on issues he's skim-read. His grift also involves no longer talking to people who disagree with him. It's a 90 minute video. Which "very deep" bit caught your attention?

I also once listened to two people talking; it was on a train and they were also in deep conversation about a dog which was poorly and had bitten its owner when they hard tried to move it. Apparently the dog and the owner were both quite elderly and the owner had been taken to hospital for treatment for the bite which was severe. While she was in hospital the dog had been taken to the vets and put to sleep. When the owner returned from hospital she was understandably distraught and phoned the police claiming that her dog had been “dogknapped” and executed by her neighbours. The dog’s name was Lennox and the owner’s deceased husband was called Jordan.

That’s all I remember about this somewhat dull but slightly interesting if you were there kind of story; but at least I made an effort to tell it.

Edit I made up the dog and husband’s names for literary effect.

Edit I made it all up actually but it’s still more interesting than the OP.

And you have the gall to wonder why KJ doesn't talk to you anymore. I assume you think you're a perfectly pleasant individual.

In his OP KellyJay says nothing; it’s just a lazy video dump.

KellyJay lacks the intellectual backbone, debating principle and maturity to enter into debate in good faith and for some reason, known only to himself, chooses instead to pepper the forum with furballs of his religious zealotry regurgitated from whatever comes out of the pulpit of his local church.

You also lack conversational skills, and instead of entering into debate in good faith you choose to pepper the forums with a curious mix of your Walter Mitty style life stories and and large dollops of partisan scorn.

Your OWN advice: Just Walk On By.

You are never required to inject your venom into everything he writes, and yet you can't wait to do so, gleefully.

And wow, you could be talking to yourself. Irony abounds.

Cue FMF-voiced @divegeester: "You're using the word irony wrong."

Feck off, dude.

divegeester's mindmap, behaviour, and integrity is chalk-and-cheese different to KellyJays' mindmap, behaviour, and integrity. divegeester has the courage of his convictions. KellyJay, as a contributor to a debate and discussion forum, is cowardly, disingenuous, and inarticluate. The same cannot be said for divegeester. So there is no irony at all.

You said to divegeester "I assume you think you're a perfectly pleasant individual." I am asking you: Do you think you are a perfectly pleasant individual?

Why don’t you contribute to these discussions instead of trying to be a dog in a manger with your childish trolling?

One of the topics they discussed was "thought" It went along the lines that if someone says I thought of something, or this came to me, what is that saying? Something brought that thought to us, was it self-generated, it was, pun intended, thought-provoking. 🙂

And what does Peterson suggest? That the thought might have been put there by the Hindu god/gods? There, are, after all, 1,100,000,000 Hindus in India and maybe 700,000,000 of them are online. And Peterson is, after all, a grifter with a Patreon account.
