Anyone can see that these two statements have ZERO to do with each other. I have no idea why you brought up what you brought up. You can give it a rest now.[/b]
It was you who brought up your disagreements with sonship in answer to divegeester's question: "...is your relationship with sonship so fragile that you cannot publicly disagree over something such as this?" What do your disagreements with sonship have to do with other people having disagreements with sonship?

Step a little closer and you just might see it. I'm out of practice. With practice, you probably wouldn't see it coming.
You're "out of practice" in what way?

Yes. Frequently ~ more so than you, for example. I don't know of many regular Christian posters here who have shown the same degree of humility at the appropriate times or to have apologized for intemperate words or misunderstandings as often as he has ~ again, much more often than you have, for example. Your sense of pride and self-righteousness dwarfs his.
Really? Well I don't see that but as I said it's my opinion and your comments on him are your opinion.
I accept that and see no need in trying to change anyone here. But many here do not like his approach and the need he seems to have to pick apart every word that is said here. Perhaps if he used a different mode, one that is not so attacking, some may accept his opinions better.

But we know that will probably not happen and as he is in every discussion everytime, everyday, telling us all how we are all wrong and why he feels that way over and over. It's just getting old.
Maybe his message should be quality, not quanty?
Perhaps we all ( myself included) should answer as Jesus did with love and kind direction to the scriptures instead of what erks us. Just a thought.

Yes, I know you think this is so, but this doesn't answer the question about what the word "misdirection" means according to you.
It means obfuscation.

Do you stand by the things you said to divegeester in your post addressed to him a few pages ago? Or do you retract them?

I cannot concur on this characterisation of his posting. He is a critic of the Trinity theology. He is a critic of the torture theology. And he is a critic of certain aspects of your organisation's policies and behaviour. That's about it. I don't see him telling people that they are wrong "in every discussion every time, every day". That strikes me as an inaccurate portrait of his forum presence.

He engaged in some of the most scathing bashing of a fellow Christian in recent forum history earlier on this thread. And he seems to have indicated some change of heart. I wonder if it will extend to retracting some of that scathing bashing stuff. Did you read what galveston75 wrote?

"Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you." Ephesians 4:31-32 NASB
Paul's exhortation to the Ephesian Believers in Christ nearly 2,000 years ago is as applicable to us on this forum today.

You're more than welcome. I note with interest the reference to Galveston Texas in your site profile. The origin of your nickname I imagine. Visited there several times during our six years in Houston. Several years later we had occasion to visit Vancouver, Washington on regional business travel during our career related relocation to Sacramento; our employer was headquartered in Bend, Oregon. I empathize with your family's medical challenges having had a recent one of my own.

Too bad that I fall short with some that call themselves Christians, not only them but all that post in this forum. Working on it! I get embarrassed with myself sometimes. This place drives me crazy. But I was already crazy when I got here. 😉

Titus 3:2
To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, [but] gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

2 Timothy 2:24-25
And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all [men], apt to teach, patient,
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

1 Thessalonians 5:15
See that none render evil for evil unto any [man]; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all [men].

Galatians 6:10
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all [men], especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

Philippians 4:5
Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord [is] at hand.

Christian's creed.

"Scathing bashing of a fellow Christian".

You're referring to the geester. Right? Have you confronted divegeester for his scathing bashing?

I thought not!
