This is the third installment in my "A Serious Question" series. The first two have been a success, marked by reasonable, on-topic discussion directly addressing the question at hand. Hopefully we may continue in that vein.

This week's question: Do creationists believe in Pangea - the idea that all of earth's continents used to be interlock ...[text shortened]... rizes your beliefs about Pangea. I will be happy to entertain wholly different options as well.
I'd go with 3, bcause the bible does not say the continents did not shift, it does not say, the contents do not shift, and it does not say the continents will not shift.
but time I challenge...

Awww, not another innocent amphibian mercilessly squished...

Does only the good doctor's name bring laughter, or his theory as well? I giggled naughtily like you about his name, but please explicate the jocundity of his article...

Then you're adopting the extreme (literal 6x24hrs creation) interpretation?

That's right.

It's a spiritual exercise.

Is this some kind of college-rag experimentation phase? Or are you really trying it (putting the hat on to see if it fits, regardless of public opinion)?

You know, I've been trying to find literal creationists who believe that fossils were put there to "test" their faith; but I can't seem to find any. Most literal creationists I find believe fossils are the result of Noah's flood.

Perhaps you should reconsider your option.

EDIT: I sometimes wonder if this whole "God put fossils to test our faith" isn't just a carricature of literal creationists; and there really aren't many (if any) creationists who actually believe that. Of course, if someone can point me to a group who actually do believe that, I'll happily withdraw this point.
