Yup, gravity can be measured. And so can Fundamental Rights except it's a lot easier. Just think of what the average human being wants and what he joins into society expecting. Think of how he believes he should act toward his fellow man. Think of the what is required in a society. VOILA! Even somebody as thick as you should be able to figure out the basic contours of what a Fundamental Right is. Think about it.
Everybody has different ideas concerning these things. The fact that you believe that everybody thinks alike is indicative of your cognitive abilities.

Read Locke, Paine, the Declaration of Independence, etc. etc. etc. Or stay ignorant.
You brought it up, I'm asking you to show me.

What a pathetic dodge, Parrot! You know that murder is an unlawful killing, congratulations! But your own Bible says it isn't a killing at all! Pay a little fine to the husband and that's it! Explain that, my fanatical friend.

I'll show you on the internet where you can read the entire text of Locke's Two Treatises of Government and the Second Part of Tom Paine's Rights of Man. Will that do?

This is what Exodus says will be done to those who do abortions according to the KJ version.

"he shall be surely punished, according as the woman's husband shall lay upon him; and he shall pay as the judges determine."

What is a human being in your book ?

Why do YOU assign rights to human beings ?

Actually they don't. There are wide ranging similiarities in the acceptance of basic principles across a wide range of cultures. You obviously haven't read very much, if anything, on the subject. Ignorance is bliss.

This is the same misguided reasoning that you use to base your assumptions off of.

Oh lets see, just a few sociology, psychology, anthropology, and philosophy courses.

Yup, he has to pay a fine because he caused the husband to lose some property. But where's the execution? What is the penalty if the pregnant woman dies, genius? So miscarriage = fine. Death or injury of real person = Eye for an Eye. I assume you didn't bother to read the excerpt from Jewish law I cited; in the Talmud a fetus was not a person, period. Bit of a problem for you Bible bashers, ain't it?

He has to pay according to the judge. Not every murder get sentenced to death. The word fine is not used in the KJ version.

Good. Tell me; how many societies say people can kill other members of the primary group with impunity?

Don't be stupid. Read the next verse; what happens if they injure or kill the woman? Do they pay a fine then? What did Jewish law think of a fetus, fanatic?

EDIT: LMFAO! "he shall pay as the judges determine" BUT IT DOESN'T SAY FINE!!!!!! Guess you have to figure it out for yourself.

Many. There are tribes that war with each other and sacrifice their own. There are also people here in the states who believe in taking the law into there own hands. Some will kill another for wearing the wrong colors or walking down the wrong street.

How can you be a lawyer and not know this? How can you have an education and believe that people think the same?
