Let us take for example abiogenesis. Has it ever been observed?
What is the alternative? Has that been observed?

Either way it seems a miracle took place.

So you decide which miracle is more likely - one initiated by an all-powerful Creator for a purpose or one initiated by nothing for no reason.

Exactly my point. Either way, you are putting your faith somewhere. The difference of course is that my faith is in God are your faith is in NOTHING.

You're assuming that I consider abiogenesis to be reality. It's a hypothesis,
nothing more. But I'm pretty sure that one day scientists will be able to test
it for accuracy, in which case it will turn out to be correct or, at the very least,
they'll be one step closer to the truth about the origin of life.

And I never said reality is limited to what we can observe. I said all we can
know about reality is what we can observe.

Exactly, and any sane person would have to go with nothing on this one. 😛
But I suppose that's a subject for a different thread.

So you agree that you do not know that abiogenesis is a true part of reality, but you still believe that it is?

Yeah right, nothing caused everything! What brilliant logic!

The ID "hypothesis" (using the word in a most loose sense) has also yet to
be proven, and still you believe in it. So what's your point?

I'll leave for a trip about a week now, but I will respond to this when I get
back. You'll see that something from nothing is just as "ridiculous" as
something from something eternal.
