There is very little which is original in the NT. Nearly every episode and tenet has an analog in the ancient literature of the Mediterranean or North Africa or India. Originally posted by @sonhouseMan's inhumanity to man is well-attested in all cultures, including our own. UNICEF estimates that 3 million children die every year due to avoidable/preventable malnutrition. That's a damning indictment of the OECD nations which massively over-produce food and waste much of it.
