We see this clearly in verses like Romans 8:14-17. “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Not to throw a spanner in the works, but it actually says that those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons, needless to say, I do not yet know of one person who is totally led by the spirit of God
yet.... And so I know of no real sons, in fact according to scripture, the whole of creation waits expectantly for the sons of God to stand up! This has not in my opinion happened yet. On the question of other religions, including witchcraft, there are many religions that do more / the same for the world as we Cristians do! So the question has to be raised, what makes us different? Why do we continue to try to prove the world wrong with scriptures, when those same scriptures tell us that those whose ears have been closed will not hear and whose eyes have been closed will not see, and Jesus himself said that we should first take the log out of our own eye before we try to take the stick out of someone else's?
Prehaps we should rather concentrate on getting a relasionship going with God in the first place, then be led by the spirit and eventually walk like Jesus did. Then we will proclaim God to the world without words, and the blind will see and the deaf will hear.
Until that time if the world does not hear or see, then I have not yet fully become what I need to be and the only person who is still in the wrong is me, until that time I need to pray that Gods grace will be provided to help me.
