No. I posted on the first page and then left the thread. I re-joined on page 7 when I Immediately gave the advice you keep religiously regurgitating.
Like I said, it seems to me that you saw petewxyz's behaviour the same way as I did almost up to the very end of that thread. The doubling-down you mentioned was on page 1, page 2, page 3, page 4, page 5, page 6 and page 7, at least. Page 8 too probably. I don't recall. You obviously didn't think he'd done the stuff you advised him to do on the first 7 pages of the thread. You obviously didn't think he'd cleared up the issue. You obviously did think he was still doubling down on page 7. You saw it the way I did, clearly.
