I would point out that, on the first page, he received tremendous support and upvotes.

The same cannot be said of his detractors.

I think he did a great job. 🙂

Do you see thumbs up and thumbs down as being indicative of something significant?

I think censorship is indeed your goal. You seem to have backed off of it after encountering resistance.

So good, we're getting to the heart of the issue, which is that you don't approve of how two specific people post. Fine.

Let's say they don't, in fact have that kind of curiosity towards certain posters. How will your telling them that they SHOULD have it, help anyone, in that case?
Well you have made a decision about what you consider my goal so by all means stick with that if you so desire.

My goal was in fact to take issue with @Divegeester & @FMF's style of questioning. Since they have been reduced to posh playground name calling 'cry baby' 'pompous foul' etc I think I am finished here.

But I think my style of questioning is fine. In fact, I think that my posting is better than yours.

I think BigDoggProblem is right about you.

Thanks for your thoughts on atheism and the nature of religious belief.

How do you figure that? Was I posting continuously throughout those 8 pages? No. I posted on the first page and then left the thread. I re-joined on page 7 when I Immediately gave the advice you keep religiously regurgitating.
A False Sense of Security

petewxyz: I do sometimes find these social media conversations embarrassing.

Ghost of a Duke: We've all be there old chap. In this forum in particular, quickly own an erroneous statement, never double-down.

divegeester: Well said.

Ghost of a Duke: I think the Duchess is the best exemplar of such a behaviour, digging a hole deeper for herself rather than holding her hands up to an error of judgment or false statement.

Ghost of a Duke: To clarify the above, I wasn't comparing Pete to the Duchess. That would be unfair on anybody.

What desire do you think BigDoggProblem SHOULD have? And do you think he has made a decision without an appropriate amount of curiosity about what your goal is?

What do you make of BigDoggProblem's take on what petewxyz is up to with this OP and thread?
I think BigDoggProblem is free to post whatever he likes and understand his point about censorship. I also think the way these forums work takes a while to get use to and people often come here expecting debates to have certain perimeters or shared etiquettes. Hopefully people acclimatise to the fact that the forums are all the more healthier due to the freedom of expression they allow, while filtering out the more extreme stuff that nobody wants to see.

Of course he is. No one is suggesting otherwise. Just as petewxyz is free to post whatever he likes and engage whoever he likes.

So what you make of BigDoggProblem's take on petewxyz and his OP is something you are choosing to keep secret?

But it wasn't me who suddenly flounced out of the friendship/allegiance thing and the radio programme and everything
I find this a very peculiar post to be honest, referencing the radio programme. I took the time to write and send you over 40 micro fictions, and after the first programme aired sent you positive feedback by email and via this site. You didn't reply to either of those messages. How is that me flouncing off? Writing micros now has become a useful tool in maintaining creativity and have written nearly 300. The radio show was great listening and I have made no comment to the contrary.
