He said those that believe in Him we will be saved.

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
John 5:24

Then they said to him, "What must we do, to be doing the works of God?" Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he ...[text shortened]... eves and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
Mark 16:15‭-‬16
Your cult had leaders who sexually abused people AND, they also professed belief in Christ. They are believers in Christ and according to you they are saved.

I don’t see you addressing the person that stone walled the question I asked first. Hypocrisy much?
He didn't ask you if you see yourself as "an ambassador of Christ". You did. You asked him. And then, when you were asked your own question, you stone-walled. So the hypocrisy is not mine.

@dj2becker said
You interjecting and posing the question I asked first back at me and expecting me to answer but saying nothing of the person ignoring my question is yet again another bit of hypocrisy on your side.
The hypocrisy is yours, not mine. If you don't want to answer your own question, why are you posing it to someone else?

You’re the one backing into a cul-de-suc.
I am not in a cul-de-sac. It's not me who has asked questions of someone else and then insisted on keeping my own answers to those questions secret. If you didn't want to answer them, why did you ask them? It is you who is in the cul-de-sac.

I am a sinner saved by grace. I have never claimed that I can meticulously follow the teachings of Christ without fail.
This is an evasive non-sequitur on your part.

You said this:

If you are a Christian I don’t believe you have to announce it to everyone.

I asked this:

Do you have a scriptural basis for this belief?

And then you start waffling about how you are a "sinner saved by grace" and you have never claimed that you "can meticulously follow the teachings of Christ without fail".

Nobody has asked you if you see yourself as "meticulously follow the teachings of Christ without fail", so that's red herring and a straw man.

You were asked for a scriptural basis for your belief that, as a Christian, you don’t have to announce it to everyone here on a Spirituality Forum.

And you reply, not with a scripture, but with the non-sequitur "I am a sinner saved by grace..." blah blah blah.

Why are you so furtive?

If you truly believe in Jesus you will confess and repent of your sins you won’t hide it like they did for so many years.

Proverbs 28:13

He who conceals his transgressions will not prosper, But whoever confesses and turns away from his sins will find compassion and mercy.

You did not address his dodge, instead you simply posted the question I asked him straight back at me. How is that not trolling? So next time if you ask someone a question and I post the same question straight back at you you would accept that as normal behavior?

You perhaps. Not me. You, meanwhile, are certainly being a hypocrite.

Yes. Assuming your question to me is about what I believe and doesn't ask me something as if I am a Christian

When will you start the process?

All that makes no difference. According to your interpretation of the bible they are saved.

You are entitled to your opinions just as I am.

Using that logic you shouldn’t ask me a question I asked Raj as our beliefs about salvation are different.

Of course you’re not even going to try and understand my interpretation.
