Thank God being a follower of Christ is about a relationship and not a religion.

I guess its partly because atheists are on average, better educated and have higher IQs.

IQ's have nothing to do with it.

    Woodypusher, tell me -

How come a really intelligent person like Albert Einstien was not able to figure out how to remain faithful to his first wife ?

Albert moved his family to Prague where he had been appointed full professor at the Karl-Ferdinand University. For Mileva, the move would have been painful; as a Serb, she would have been particularly sensitive to the tensions between the German nationalist elite and the Czechs, with whom she identified. In 1912, the Einsteins returned to Zurich, a move that Mileva hoped would help respark her marriage. It did not. By then, Albert had a new math collaborator, Marcel Grossman. He also had a new lover, his cousin, Elsa Loewenthal. On his 34th birthday, he got a card from Elsa. That evening, Mileva was absent from a party.

Sounds like he couldn't figure out how to remain in love with his wife according to his marriage vows.

Maybe you're impressed that he figured out how to have another love affair on the side ?

And yet your post on a loving God depends on at last 9 specific Bible citations.

I am fairly sure it does. People with higher IQs, are statistically more likely to be better educated, have a wider general knowledge and be atheist. IQ tests, after all, are partly a test of general knowledge and other education and I note that you did not dispute my education claim.

Maybe, not being Christian, he realized that he did not need to? I must note though that almost all the people I personally know who have been unfaithful were Church going Christians.

Learn to quote the bible chapter and verse and certain people then think you have wisdom, much easier than studying many scientific disciplines and having to employ deductive reasoning to support your suggestions !

LOL, perhaps you would like to tell the forum what original ideas you have had?

Can you explain why atheists on this forum with the exception of one or two, know next to nothing about the most widely translated, widely distributed book in the history of humanity?

Did you actually read Odbod's post Robbie? Seems a perfectly valid point to me, and I don't see him claiming original ideas...

So if he has not originated anything, he is simply content to assimilate what others have produced.
