I thought you must be referring to another question because I did answer the afterlife one.

How can "the Bible" possibly be considered "evidence" that people live on in the afterlife after they die?

FMF told you that I had answered his question but you ignored him and kept on asking me to answer a question that I had already answered.

Unlike you I believe the Bible to be God's revelation to mankind, hence I believe it to ring true. Obviously we will differ on what passes as evidence, since you reject the Bible's authority.

Read page 10 of this thread. Try reading it slowly 😉

"I think he's offered 'because the Bible says so' but I don't see how he thinks that is valid evidence to me. I mean, what reason do I have to believe something is so because the Bible says so?"

And what evidence do you have that the Bible is "God's revelation to mankind"? I know you believe it is, and I know that you are asserting that it is, and I know you are certain it is, and I know (or at least assume) you are sincere. But your belief, your assertions, your certainty, and your sincerity are not evidence of anything except your state of mind. So what evidence convinced you that the Bible is "God's revelation to mankind"?

How do you feel about the Bible's teaching about bearing false testimony against your neighbor?🙂

You should read it slowly. I was saying that I thought that you had not answered my question properly. See: "I think he's offered... But...".
