Well, 4+ billion years is also way too much. You need to come down to the thousands to be anywhere near credible.

Um, we didn't go to the moon.

    It was a staged event.

Yes because Russia who really didn't much like the USA at the time and who
was also in a race to get to The Moon first totally helped the USA cover up
the largest and most successful conspiracy of all time.

A conspiracy that involved actually sending rockets to the moon [the
retro-reflectors on the moon didn't appear magically] that were large
enough to carry people that distance and before reliable computer automation.

Creating tens of thousands of still and moving images of people on the moon
and in space that are impossible to tell were faked even to this day. And cannot
be convincingly replicated even WITH today's technology. And cannot be even
remotely achieved using the technology of the time.

Convincing hundreds of thousands of people in multiple countries to agree to the
cover-up and to do so faultlessly for decades.

And to do so when it would have been much easier and cheaper to actually send
    people to the moon...

This is one of the stupidest conspiracies ever devised... And that's saying something.

You know the company when you feel the need to add: (*Joke), to a perfectly obvious joke. 😵

Sad to say there are still lots of people who believe the moon landing was faked. If anyone says something and enough people hear it, some of them will believe them true or false.

They helped the US "cover up?"
    How so?

Prior to the alleged landing, how many hours had the US put into the effort?
Prior to the alleged landing, how many hours had Russia put into their efforts?
Following the alleged landing, why did Russia never make it to the moon?

Creating tens of thousands of still and moving images of people on the moon
and in space that are impossible to tell were faked even to this day.

How many images were taken, exactly?
How much time would it require to take that many images?
It is not impossible to determine they were faked: it was the images which led to the hoax' undoing!

Convincing hundreds of thousands of people in multiple countries to agree to the
cover-up and to do so faultlessly for decades.

There was only ONE source of information: NASA.
    No independent reporting occured.

It may be stupid, but they had their reasons.
What is stupid is to not revise one's thinking when faced with incontrivertiable evidence.

Good point. So why haven't you revised your thinking? Or were you perhaps implying that you had incontrovertible evidence? If so, where is it?

You fail to use the same logic and reason when it comes to the Shroud of Turin and the Sudarium of Oviedo. I wonder why.

Are you freaking serious? Jack, I was there. I worked Apollo timing and tracking and I know exactly how far away the astronauts were.

If it was a fake, think HARD about this: Don't you think it would have been in Russia AND China's interest to prove it was a fake? Not a word from either. They would have LOVED to have the propaganda victory.

You have been very well duped. You are not even old enough to have SEEN the flights I imagine so you are just another assshole with a hard on against the government.

What OTHER conspiracy theories do you ascribe to? Let's see, there was the one where 911 was caused by the FBI. Let's see, Castro off'd Kennedy.

    You into any others?

Even I don't doubt the moon landing. I use that as one of my arguments against the old age of the earth, even though some creations believe that argument should be dropped. Maybe, that is because they also want to deny the moon landing. 😏

Yes, but no doubt you believe it actually happen 6000 years ago by a man wearing the Shroud of Turin.

I believe the image on the Shroud of Turin was caused nearly 2000 years ago by the resurrection of a crucified man.
