Deuteronomy 20:10 When you march up to attack a city, make its people an offer of peace. 11 If they accept and open their gates, all the people in it shall be subject to forced labor and shall work for you. 12 If they refuse to make peace and they engage you in battle, lay siege to that city.

Doubt it.
The point here is that some, or a lot, of the Bible is not believable. No 'real God' would endorse this sort of nonsense.

Cannanites are not destroyed like the bible says, they are in fact alive and well in Lebanon.
Another example of the biggest scam in human history.
According to Egyptian hieroglyphs, the Hebrews were disaffected Canaanites .
As a Christian minister once told me "Don't let the truth interfere with anything.".

The story is likely not true.
Christian ministers are famous for trying to get their flock to believe in their own flawed interpretation of scripture.

You are the expert on what a real God would endorse are you?
No real God would participate in some of the nonsense in the Old Testament.
God needed an image upgrade, hence Jesus and the New Testament.
From your vast experience of knowing what an All Mighty, All Knowing, Eternal in time and
space, Creator of all the universe would and wouldn't do, can you tell us what God had in
mind when He started this universe and everything in it? You might spend some time with
the other local expert on what God would and wouldn't do in sonhouse, he has that same
uncanny trait of being able to say what a real God would and wouldn't do too.

I like your sarcasm. 🙂
God would not act like an angry, spoiled child, forcing us to love Him.....as is portrayed in the Bible.
