This thread is about bloodless surgery and alternatives to blood transfusion. If you have any comments to make on the actual subject I'll be happy to discuss those. All irrelevance should and will be ignored. If you are unable to stick to the topic of the thread or conduct yourself with even a modicum of forum etiquette then you should not be given any leeway to spoil it for those who can.

I have decided that the question is irrelevant to the topic and will be ignored.

Let the hounds howl.

How odd ~ in a same old same old kind of way.

Perhaps there is more than one point that could be taken from this post? That's up to each person here. I didn't refer or mention anything about this from a religious view point, I simply mentioned what the army is interested in from non JW doctors.
But anyone can take from this post whatever they want. If one is not interested in this info with something that could be used in the future if confronted with a major loss of blood, that is ones own personal decision.
But if one does not want to be given blood from another person or does not want to expose themselves to the many dangers involved from blood transfusions, here is an option one could look into.
If one is not interested, simply don't mention this option to your doctors.

Why didn't you post it on the Science Forum then?

Are you still insisting this thread has nothing to do with the JW position on blood or blood transfusions?

Of course, but do you accept that ~ despite the dangers and the number of tragedies over the years ~ blood transfusions have saved many millions of lives?

Sure they have. I've never said they didn't save life's. ( But that statement does not imply that I would ever approve of one. )
Accepting a blood transfusion is ones own decision. But it's also one that could cause dire health issues that could affect their life for sometime afterwards or possibly forever or It could even mean their life if the complications get bad enough.
In times of deep distress when ones life or the life of a loved one is in danger, one has to decide which way to go in preserving that life.
This newer method that the US Army is wanting to learn as well as hospitals is an option that one can hopefully take to continue life.

All operations run the risk of causing dire health issue for life.

I agree, and we should base that decision on the science and not religious views.

Yet the fact that you posted it here and not in the science forum suggests that you had some religious message to go with it. What is your religious message?
