You have reasons for ignoring posts so does Kelly.
Look, I get that you might see some sort of version of virtue in your self-sacrificial, partisan loyalty to KellyJay. I'm not interested in that. I am more interested in what virtue you think there is in you pretending there is the "parallel" as you suggest.

So if I ignored this utterly disingenuous post by you, it would have - to your self-confessed teenage way of thinking - a parallel to KellyJay's ever expanding list of dissenters whose every post - hundreds and hundreds of them, all on-topic, all inconvenient - that he blanks out, day in day out, even as he lectures people on not ignoring posts and lectures the ...[text shortened]... ing people even if they don't share his beliefs? Is that the "parallel" you are claiming exists?
If Dive is allowed to have reasons for ignoring posts, why can't Kelly?

Is it that you didn't understand my question or did you just find it inconvenient?

But this gimmick doesn't work. The question was a genuine one. You copy pasting it and changing a few words, instead of actually dealing with what I have put to you, is a dodge.

I could ask you the exact same question.

Do you think the government has a duty and right to intervene to protect children from parents who plan to just let them die for religious reasons?

Is this question going to result in either you or divegeester ignoring every single post from me on every single topic for the next 2 years?

If you are, then it it is just another dodge. Because it is you who is pretending there is some parallel, not me.

We are obviously not Kelly his reasons for ignoring posts may be different to ours.

Person A has his own personal reasons for ignoring posts.

Person B has his own personal reasons for ignoring posts.

I see a parallel. If you don't that's fine with me.

So to get back to the OP, how is it not hypocritical for KellyJay to reprimand another poster (divegeester, if I am not mistakwn) for ignoring one post, or for him to condemn shunning people, or to exhort people to engage others even if one disagree with them?

The thread is about hypocrisy.

What is the reason for his hypocrisy about ignoring posts?

How could Kelly possibly be reprimanding Dive when he is ignoring him?

Whom was Kelly reprimanding?
In his inimitable passive aggressive way, it appears, the recipient of KellyJay's reprimand was intended to be divegeester. Have you not been following?
