There are 4 cardinal virtues:

- prudence
- justice
- temperance
- fortitude

Is that what you mean?

I read somewhere that there were two types of sin, cardinal sins, and mortal sins.....I was just wondering on the ol "sin Identification" thing, that's all.

Venial and mortal

Venial sins are like Sins Lite. The don't produce a permanent break with God, you can still receive the Eucharist, etc. Mortal sins are the biggies. You can't receive the Eucharist without first going to Reconciliation, and if you die first I think the teaching is that you spend eternity in the Smoking Section.
