Just a question but would God let this happen to his church?

I suggest a Google search on "persecution of [insert faith]" to see if there is any faith God has not "let" untoward things happen to. The few I tried, including yours, suggest that God "lets" much worse happen.

Not sure what your point is, but the story is about schools, not churches

Interesting question since if God did NOT let it happen, then how did it happen?

Paradoxically, if it is the case that "Catholic schools are often seen as a safer and more enriching alternative to failing public schools." yet "Nationwide, Catholic schools have lost more than 587,000 students since 2000, according to the National Catholic Education Association" we must assume that people no longer want a safer and more enriching alternative or, alternatively, that they now feel safer and more enriched in failing public schools or alternatively again, that this claim was always a self serving delusion. It's always a mistake to start believing your own marketing blah. I wonder which if any applies?

I wonder too if there is any connection with the emerging stories of rampant paedophilia among Catholic clergy in so many countries?

Finally is it because fewer parents now comply with Catholic teaching on contraception?

    Such interesting room for speculation.

This seems to be a troll-like question.

Don't you subscribe to the notion that we are living in the "end times" and that God has pretty much abandoned us to our own devices in this sin-filled era of the "last days"?

Absolutley not. The signs are as clear as can be that the Bible describes and unless one has their head in the ground even without knowing the Bible it's clear this world of mankind is going down fast.
There are actually very few prophices left to be fulfilled and since God has been true in explaining them to those who will listen and see that they are in fact happening, then there is no reason to think he will not keep his promises of what he will do after all these things finally do come to an end.
Rev the 21st chapter is good for one to look up and ponder on and see what he promises.

Where do you think God's "church" actually was prior to circa 1870?

You're saying the 'dark ages' continued until Chaz kicked off your cult around 1870, is that it?

So to be clear on this; the dark ages didn't end several centuries before the 19th century, because the JW organisation ended the dark ages at it's inception in the 1870's (just 142 years ago)?

yes it is pretty awesome, awe inspiring i would say. The restoration of true worship,
the weed and the wheat that the Christ had mentioned, how a reaping would take place
determining who were wheat and who were weeds.
