@galveston75 saidI never said Jesus was or wasn't Jehovah, that wasn't the topic, neither was it the question. I did answer your question as it relates to salvation, you need me to repeat it?
Everything does. And all the scriptures you posted say nothing about Jesus being Jehovah.
Now can you answer my question.... Can one be a Christian and not believe the trinity?
@galveston75 saidPersonally, I'd like to hear you tell me what my view of the Trinity is since I've given you plenty of information to grasp it, because so far I am not convinced you do understand it.
Two questions I'd like answered.
Does one have to believe in the trinity to be Christian?
Do any of the trinitairians here think the Babylonian trinity is the same on a basic level as yours?
@kellyjay saidIm not sure you understand anything either.

You said:
The Son is not equal with the Father,
He is equal in that they are both God
@rajk999 saidAnd?

Two men can be soldiers while one out ranks the other.
Both being God, uncreated, uncaused, and yet the Father is greater than the Son.
You cannot put that together?
@kellyjay saidI don't believe in either of the Gods. (The one in the OT or the one in the NT).
I was speaking to how many gods/God there is in the Bible. You wish to paint the one (g)od you don't believe in as evil that too is up to you.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidThis is why your opinion about God, to me, is like a blind man disputing that there is no such thing as colors. You don't see God throughout the OT and NT, you are blind to Him. Thus you make it up as you go, ignoring some passages of scripture that don't fit your views and making a big deal out of things that suit you. The verses that do speak to God's character you ignore as you attempt to paint Him as something less than.

@kellyjay saidGo re-read the OT. (In its entirety). There are passages in those books you seem to have glossed over or mentally suppressed.

KellyJay,
Divegeester wrote faithfully -
“Hear oh Israel, the Lord your God is ONE”
Being the most obvious.
I have a question for you KellyJay. In this passage of John 14:23, which one of the divine "We" is the God of Israel who is One and which one is NOT ? Or is "We" that God of Israel who is ONE?
"Jesus answered and said to him, If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make an abode with him." (John 14:23)
Is it that Jesus is the God of Israel who is one and the Father is not?
Or is it that the Father is the God of Israel and that the Son Jesus is not?
OR is it that both Jesus and His Father as the divine "We" is the God of Israel who is ONE ?
I believe that the We who comes to impart God into man to make an abode with him, is the God of Israel who is one.
