Daniel & I would disagree on Mary most likely. I think she was a perfect example of a servant of God. I don't believe in the perpetual virgin. She had children after the virgin birth. I also don't think we should worship or pray to Mary. My parents were Catholic so I have some understanding of the Catholic way. I'm not trying to bash the Catholics at all.

She only had One Child, I don't think anyone should worship anyone but God and that's what Catholics do.

Did Jesus not have brothers and sisters?

Might want to take a closer look at what your bible says. Jesus had (technically speaking) brothers & sisters.

Yes.
How can they do that and not go against this scripture? John 14:6,14 & 1Tim 2:5. Jesus gave no permission or any other choises to pray to God except thru him. Man can not change this law. None of the apostles after Jesus died ever prayed to God by any other means.
I'm not trying to find fault in you and your beliefs but just trying to get you to think about what the Bible says on such matters. Thanks..

Some objections to the concept of prayer to the saints betray restricted .... The Bible directs us to invoke those in heaven and ask them to pray with us.

(1 Corinthians 2:14) But a physical man does not receive the things of the spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; and he cannot get to know them, because they are examined spiritually. . .

irony indeed!

Are you saying that the spirit of God has not spoken to me? I believe that God is powerful enough to guide me & lead me into all truth.

God speaks to us through His word which is contained in the Bible.
