The question about ostracization and bullying, as seen in the robbie carrobie and Mike Hunter situation, is a serious on-topic one and was a response to something you posted.

You claimed that there was never any coercion you were aware of. I made you aware of the robbie carrobie and Mike Hunter situation. Whatever imperatives that were making robbie carrobie behave the way he did, they seem to me to be coercion-related. Can we at least agree on that?

Yes Jehovah answers thru prayer. Has he not answered ones in prayer that he has dealt with in the past for direction?
I hope your not going to suggest that he doesn't as you have no idea who he speaks to, do you? No.
In case you haven't heard, the age of prophets is over. He doesn't speak to anyone directly.

Dude! Do not insult the greatness of Laurel&Lardy by comparing them to these two morons!

I like this definition from Oxford:

"A relatively small group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or sinister."
I was a member of a cult back in the early 70's . It was called The Process , Church of the Final Judgment . We had 4 gods .

It was a situation in which galveston75 and robbie carrobie behaved, in public, here in this community, like cultists.

galveston75 is still posting and has very recently excused his own behaviour by accusing the person who was bullied off this site of being a liar. Cultists defend their cults in this way as it is important for them to delegitimize dissent or criticism.

You may think that people do not need to take responsibility for things they say - or said in the past - and if that is your attitude to online intellectual behaviour, then so be it: that is your prerogative.

But it does seem like an odd general-purpose absolution cop-out for a poster as sanctimonious as you to be advocating.

Correct ! And in the end times there would be a unity of Christ and Satan .

This happens every time I pin them down to proving some terrible hideous thing I supposedly said in the past but now they can't find it or just don't have the time or something like that. Oh well at least they're consistent if that's a good thing, maybe.......

"Cultists defend their cults in this way as it is important for them to delegitimize dissent or criticism."

Would a Catholic defend their belief? Would a baptist defend their belief? Would a Hindu defend their belief?
So what's your point exactly?
