I thought it unnecessary to say. His comment was stupid and I assumed you knew that.

i told you i don't believe your propaganda, its nonsense.
What propaganda? And when did you tell me? I don't recall.

So, are you willing to discuss what you liked about his comment? I thought not.

What about the way it was worded?

And what about the actual contents? What did you like about them? Did you agree with them?

You just said it (debate and discuss)

I said also I want to discuss but (not debate and argue.)

And why did I say that?

Because truth cannot be argued and debated..............full stop.

I would argue that the truth can be argued and debated. And that is the truth. And I just argued it, proving you wrong. Do you wish to debate my claim?

I goofed, I responded to the wrong comment, I was responding to the comment about Dasa. Sorry for confusion. The P word? Proof. He hates to be confronted with even the concept of people demanding proof of his religion.

You notice he said he will 'dicuss' but not 'debate'.

That would be because he is so addled in his religion NOBODY else matters, he is the ONLY one qualified to tell the 'truth'.

Anyone saying anything disparaging about his religion is automatically defeated in his somewhat limited mind.

It is just another example of why I think ALL religions are just man made constructs designed to control people with little else going on.

And why do they not want discussion?

Because they do not know the difference between true religion and false religion.

you don't call an apprentice (mechanic) "defeated". They are still learning.

Dasa peddles what amounts to a kind of perpetual motion machine that exists only on paper. I don't think he is a "mechanic", and I certainly don't think anyone here is his "apprentice", unless that's how you see yourself. 😉

    No Dasa's not a 'mechanic'.

    ....

I do see myself as an apprentice of sorts - even though my main authority comes from myself. I have studied under a couple of "masters" in my time. But none right now or the last few years. I don't seek them

There is a forum specifically for debating.

    You cannot debate truth.

Debating requires a For and Against.

Its a tad silly having a For and Against something that is true.

Who shall ever want to be the person debating the ""Against .......of the truth.

Its easy being the person being for the ( "For" ) side.

    Do you understand now?

Therefore again, the truth can only be discussed.............. full stop.

But again, why is only what you say 'the truth?!?'

As an atheist i believe 'i' hold the truth. By your own reckoning you can only discuss this with me,....as you can not debate the truth.

Or is it only okay to 'debate' the truths of other, but not your own?

I think Dasas point is that the truth does not lie between two polarities.

It is only silly when all agree on what is true. Given that you and I disagree on what is true, debate makes a lot of sense and is not silly at all.

Who shall ever want to be the person debating the ""Against .......of the truth.
Clearly not you, which is why you prefer to merely state your untruths rather than debate them.
