Okay, RJHinds, let's get back to track again. A good initiative. Because I think you have forgotten what is was all about:
I said: "You know that Jesus said that what "Don't do upon others what you don't want others to do to you."?"
You said: "No, Jesus did not say that."
Do you still think that Jesus didn't said that? Even after that I looked it up: Matthew 7:12 "Do to others what you want them to do to you."
You said: "Sure. I believe in that."
And suddenly you changed you mind.
What made you make this to a "I am right and you are wrong" thing?
Just admit that you were wrong and we can go on with an interesting discussion?
And then you try with a straw man and introduce the evilution again. Busted!
You believe in creationistic evilution, not I. I believe in the scientific evolution, you don't.
Avoid this posting as a sign that you are wrong.

It is a mixing around of the words that you quote and RJ is right. In the several versions of the bible that I looked at it is not as you quoted. That is what RJ is not agreeing with.

This is correct and in line with Jesus words from the several versions I looked at. RJ did not change his mind, he just agreed with the correct scripture, to put it another way... He did not agree with an erroneous verse. Your two quotes are not the same, can you admit you are wrong and "go on with an interesting discussion"?

Don't you think he can answer for himself? Do you really think him as a child in need for protection from an adult?
Yes, perhaps you're right. He need guidance.
Originally posted by FabianFnasNo, I don't see him week at all, quite the contrary... he can hold his own and does. It is not so unusual that someone speaks up for others, you guys (atheists) do it all the time with each other. A poster in another thread did this same thing on your behalf not too long ago, spoke up for you... where was the protest then? Sometimes it is needed for the purpose of correction that another speak up when there is an error.

It is interesting your response however, you neither owned up to the mistake or addressed the points of my post at all. You instead fired off three three questions and made an assumption, then you arrived at a conclusion based on those questions. You put words in my mouth to which I never said, "perhaps you're right. He need guidance".
I don't think RJ to be a child, and I don't think he needs protection from me or anyone else. I don't always agree with what he puts forth, but that is his business. When someone is singled out and ridiculed in the way you are doing, something needs to be said, IMO. You are harassing another on your mistake!
I am just wondering, do you see the point I am making and that you twisted the scripture (intentionally or not) and are trying to make it seem as if RJ made some mistake?
Can someone substantiate what I am saying or am I wrong with my point?
