Once we start sinning, in time we become addicted to sin and therefore become as slaves. But the truth will set you free. HalleluYah !!! Praise the Lord!
Lol....Sorry, I can't keep a straight face typing this. But I'd still like to know the answers.

None of us have any control over sinning. The Bible says we are slaves to sin. But this is where God knew from the beginning with what Adam did, that we all inherit sin and will sin. So he started right after Adam sinned to make the arrangments to have a perfect life act as a sacrifice or ransome to pay for our sins and that was done by his son Jesus.
...[text shortened]... le as we can and give our love and respect and follow God's request in all aspects of our life.

Use the ethical theory of your choice.
But if one does not believe in God which I believe you don't then all I guess you have to answer to is yourself and the government you live under, unless your married then that's a whole other issue..Lol

Or was that a copy-n-paste from a JW site?
Perhaps I should not be surprised that they have no available blurb on ethical theory or moral accountability?
Seriously, I'm curious if you can justify the idea of moral accountability in a world where no one has any control of their actions. Consider yourself called out....

Originally posted by SwissGambitBecause, thanks to God we have a "consciense" and that should tell us all what is right and wrong and it does give us a varying amount of control whether we DECIDE to sin or not on a moral level.
Here's the question again.
If we have absolutely no control over our actions, then how is it proper to hold us morally accountable for our actions?
Most humans listen to that but we obviously have many that don't. That's why the prisons are more then full.
This consciense we have is what was put into us from God and one big thing that seperates us from all other life on this planet. Why do we have a conscience and morals that we have that no other species has? It's in us by God instilling that in humans and no other life forms on earth.
If God had not installed this into us, tell me what you think this planet would be like without it?
But there are basically 2 types of sin.
One example is where we may think of some bad thought, let's say maybe about coveting ones neighbor for whatever he may own.
There is probably not one human on this planet that hasn't done that even if just for a fleeting moment.
The other sin would be one that one "pratices" sin such as taking something from that neighbor whenever getting that opportunity.
So this is where the consciense should kick in and stop the sin at the thought only level and not practice that sin.
So we should hold ourselves accountable before it ever progresses to a level that others, including God hold us accountable to.
If that doesn't answer your question...let me know.
