I don't think it is fair that homosexuals who seek conversion therapy be discriminated against by the Gay Activists for breaking ranks.
People wanting to be helped out of that life-style should not be discriminated against but those who want to STAY and label others wanting to leave as turncoats or traders to the cause.
Some US states are making it illegal for help to be rendered to such people by certain organizations.
I think it is discrimination.
Of course violence against people is wrong hetero or homo.
And these folks need representation in court in cases of unlawful violence just as much as anyone.
@sonship saidSexual orientation isn't a choice. Conversion therapy is a nonsense.

@sonship saidDo you allow that someone who "wants" to receive "gay conversion therapy" might be doing so to gain acceptance from family and friends, and not so much because they actually want their sexuality to change?

@fmf saidSo is this for everyone to comment on or just those who you agree with?
Whatever your beliefs are, theist or atheist or somewhere in between, if you are opposed to reducing or eliminating discrimination against homosexuals [by society and/or by the government], what types of discrimination would you support?
@bigdoggproblem saidDo you allow that the person might actually want help because the person believes such actions are immoral and wrong?

@eladar saidYes. Religious indoctrination and judgment can lead someone to believe they are immoral and wrong (when actually it is the indoctrination and judgment itself that is wrong and damaging).

@eladar saidHope it changes you at a profound level.
@Ghost-of-a-Duke
Thanks for sharing your point of view.
@galveston75 saidTolerance.
So why should ones who do not agree with homosexuality need to change their views?
@ghost-of-a-duke saidTolerance allows the behavior. It does not need to agree with it, just tolerate it.
Tolerance.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidWhat if it goes against my religious belief and conscience and lets say as a business owner of a bakery, they asked me to bake a wedding cake for them. Do I have too or do I now need to worry about intolerance from them and the back lash that society may give me and possibly be sued for what they say is discrimination?
Tolerance.
