consider a different take on the Story of Noe ( setting aside it being a copy of Ziusudra's flood) if you leave off the other cabins the ship will run aground on a mountain top.

and even Christ almost missed the boat, took a miracle to be on it and then his purpose was to stop the storm and calm the sea. He didnt change the course.
So whenever there is disagreement there should be inaction. What if we get disagreement from the socialist lobby?

sell your riches and give the money to the poor.

socialist as in the means of production owned by the ship?

might even be the best way to keep the captain from being bribed to alter course by one of the Luxury Cabins.

Well what do you expect from De Sales man?

WTF are you on? This is a message bored, people come and read or post for entertainment. If some one wants to provoke thats fine. Are you innocent of abuse? Are you innocent of provocation? Hmm, don't think so!

Provocation is good, once in a while we get provoked to think in new ways. Calm down, enjoy and join in with humour. If you carry on getting hysterical perhaps you should do something else with you time. Read a good book or something.

While we're waiting, you might want to take a turn by Dr Mesmer's door...

Isn't this what your true advice really boils down to ?

Christians should in case of provocation, insults and abuse "simply walk away", maining they should be silent and shut up. The provokers and abusers would love that, don't you think, because that is exactly what they are after. These Christians should just walk away and shut up.

Do you deny that this is what Jesus would have done?

I do not look upon Scripture as a recipe book for pre-cooked behaviour. This tactic is always used by people who want to misuse the Word of God to manipulate and force people into a behaviour that is advantageous to the manipulaters.

I don't think that is the case. I think certain "provokers" and "abusers" would be disappointed if people decided to walk away from them more times than not. It's more entertaining that way, IMO.

Using the " ..." signs for the words provokers and abusers reveal more about your stances than all the words you've spent so far on this issue. I get the impression you do not take the subject of abuse very seriously.

I know that amusement and entertainment is an integral and dominant part of popular American culture, but I don't think it is a wise decision to start reasoning within its content and scope in the case of serious discussions on debating forums.

If you want to take this issue of abuse seriously it is the right course of action to adress the initiators of the unwanted and anti-ToS behaviour and not turn the focus of attention towards those who react to it, in a wise or unwise way. Doing this you lay the responsibility for the problem on the shoulders of the wrong party.

The responsible party in changing the unwanted situation is not the one who is the subject of the abuse and reacts to it, but the party who initiates the abuse.
