If you do, please pray for me 😢
Why?

Keep this in mind: in Christ, we have peace, but we live in a world at odds with Christ. So the world, our flesh, and the devil are at odds with Christ. I heard a lady discuss our sinful nature; she compared it to a rip tide in the water, which is always trying to pull us into sin. There is an end in sight, but in this life, we are called to walk with the Lord who overcam ...[text shortened]... us, that He will never leave us or forsake us.

It isn’t easy, but when we are weak, He is strong.
Do you know what you're asking?

It's difficult enough for me to keep the steps and procedure for a single self-working mathematical card trick in mind, let alone such a truckload of mentally occlusive yet juicy Hellenistic-Roman-Jewish blather, no matter how many others might find it palliative and supportive in its lulling way.

This really isn't a forum for you.
What happened to you? Even despite your overweening sense of self-important, I used to think you were one of the good peeps.

Yes, I do believe in Prayer and have seen it work in my life time.

Some may call it coincidence but I do believe in Prayers and that they can work.
Dear VR, I trimmed your post to thank you for that observation.

Recently I noticed that I sometimes overwrite and include too many points in a single post, which of course makes it unclear which of them someone might like or dislike.

Actually, that would be the same as taking a "non-participatory" role.
Non-participation in unnecessary combat in the context of a presumably -- oh wait, did you mean that the Ultimate Cosmic Intelligence might be a petty fight promoter?

But Tolkien was a believer in God.
He also seemed to be a fan of young guys with hairy feet, at a time when that might have been frowned upon.

While I think you are profoundly insecure about your intelligence level.

Again, this isn't the forum for you.
Wow.

Seriously: what has happened to you that you would post such a thing and leave it?

Relax, the Good Shepherd is on the job. 🙂
On my side, it's more like "Eh bien, all of this has occurred somehow" -- and some people of Earth are trying to control each other with local fairy tales that clutter the field of clear perception and understanding.

We've had a somewhat iffy relationship over time, but this is rather disturbing to learn.

Regrets that I am mostly psi-blind and lacking in TK ability to assist!

@Ghost,
Well at least one thing we can agree on!!! I trust little of what you write you are a very underhanded person in my opinion. You say one thing behind people's back and something completely different when confronted about it. People like you are just not to be trusted in my humble opinion. You Sir, are the most dishonest person I have met on this site in my 19 years here!!!

We are all multifaceted and changeable beings and at times the problems regarding our interactions can be compounded by our tendencies to draw conclusions from what might only be fractional and not necessarily representative observations of this or that sprout's behavior.

But yeah, WTAH, @Ghost!!! 😉

(I meant that in a Gregg Araki way)

What was the name of the belief system you believe in with the universe. You mentioned it years back and I actually watched a woman on YouTube for like 40 minutes talk about it even though she was a total flake along with her words.

once every 500,000 solar years the comet passes unperturbed
humans wet themselves watching

Evening mountains
Veiled in somber mist,
One path entering
The wooded hill:
The monk has gone off,
Locking his pine door.
From a bamboo pipe
A lonely trickle of water flows.
