I do not know what you mean by CoE? If you mean: (Christ of the Evangelicals); then I much much agree with you.
The Evangelical and Catholic church leaders were nothing but a living nightmare to those that were seeking God in that time.
I'll emphasize LIVING NIGHTMARE.
This is why many of came to America in the 1600s and 1700s. They were getting away from the frea ...[text shortened]... e God of those freak religious leaders. Hence, The Deists.
The rest I understand and agree with.
@ghost-of-a-duke saidOh, okay.
Church of England.
They were much the same all over Europe at that time.
Both Catholic and Protestant church leaders would hunt down, and murder those who even questioned their beliefs or teachings, etc.
If you did not believe that Baby Baptism led to salvation, then you were in deep trouble with the church; both Catholic, and Protestant churches. They would murder groups of people by the thousands sometimes, at that time, etc.
They called them Ana-baptists.
Many Christians would be murdered today, including I.
So yes, I agree with Susanne here also.

"Roman Catholics and Protestants alike persecuted the Anabaptists, resorting to torture and execution in attempts to curb the growth of the movement. The Protestants under Zwingli were the first to persecute the Anabaptists, with Felix Manz becoming the first Anabaptist martyr in 1527. On May 20 or 21, 1527, Roman Catholic authorities executed Michael Sattler.[49] King Ferdinand declared drowning (called the third baptism) "the best antidote to Anabaptism". The Tudor regime, even the Protestant monarchs (Edward VI of England and Elizabeth I of England), persecuted Anabaptists as they were deemed too radical and therefore a danger to religious stability."
"The burning of a 16th-century Dutch Anabaptist, Anneken Hendriks, who was charged with heresy.
The persecution of Anabaptists was condoned by the ancient laws of Theodosius I and Justinian I which were passed against the Donatists, and decreed the death penalty for anyone who practised rebaptism. Martyrs Mirror, by Thieleman J. van Braght, describes the persecution and execution of thousands of Anabaptists in various parts of Europe between 1525 and 1660. Continuing persecution in Europe was largely responsible for the mass emigrations to North America by the Amish, Hutterites, and Mennonites. Unlike Calvinists, Anabaptists failed to gain recognition in the Peace of Westphalia of 1648 and as a result, they continued to be persecuted in Europe long after that treaty was signed."

@kingdavid403 saidGods grace and mercy has come to all of mankind.
If a Jew or a Muslim or a Hindu is aware that Christianity and its scriptures exist, do you think that means your God figure has 'found' them?
Is your answer yes or no?
I say yes. I would hope so.
Both Hindu's and Muslims believe in Jesus; and, they worship Him! They follow all His teachings; and. they hold Him in high regard.
However, Muslims don't belie ...[text shortened]... that Jesus was the Messiah; and, they are still waiting for their Messiah; and their Messiah alone.
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; (Titus 2:11-12 KJV)
Many Christians make the fatal error of assuming that they are in some kind of special privileged position in which they can continue on with a life of sin and evil and still enter the Kingdom of God. Paul realized that his teachings could easily be twisted and altered and lead to mouth worshipers and took great pains to correct the falsity. Here in Romans 2
... God .. will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life: But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God. (Romans 2:5-11 KJV)

However, I personally already knew this.
It is a good post for others whom are un-aware of this knowledge.
So, Good post, in my opinion.

However, Muslims don't believe the forgiveness message of Christ. When they die, they believe that they will be answerable for all their sins. I know personally that I would never make it if it were not for God's grace and mercy.
So is it your opinion here that you as a Christian professing faith in Christ, will have more forgiveness than the Muslim, and that you will not have to answer for your sins?
If not then please state your position in simple language.

No, not at all.
I believe Muslims are covered by Christ's Love and Mercy as much as I.
will have more forgiveness than the?
Is there "more forgiveness" in the Blood of Christ somewhere?
As I have stated previously: In my opinion, 'Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord (God aka Jesus) will be saved (paraphrased).'
Muslims Hindu, deists, etc etc. They all do this.
So how can I, or them, have more forgiveness in the Lord?
If you have a direct question, please ask it plainly? No need to beat around.

-Removed-I already answered that in my "stance" or response, to this question. Which you, and most others, have failed to reply too. Go back and read it if you wish. I believe this is the first time you have replied to me since I posted it close to three days ago now.
Edit: Seems strange to me that you, Rajk999, and a couple others, always end up sounding like the same person. 🙂

@kingdavid403 saidTrying to paraphrase the bible and reduce it to one sentence? Foolish. The bible preaches many different ways to the Kingdom of God. Some come by faith alone, some by works alone and some by both works and faith. All of mankind will face the judgment of Christ. Only Jesus knows. We only see through a glass darkly.

That sentence is in the Bible in a few places. So who is the foolish one, and a liar?
Joel 2:32 NKJV - And it shall come to pass [That] whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance, As the LORD has said, Among the remnant whom the LORD calls.
Acts 2:21 NKJV - And it shall come to pass [That] whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved.'
Romans 10:13 NKJV - For "whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved."
Only Jesus knows. We only see through a glass darkly.
That's exactly what I just said (paraphrased). lol...

@kingdavid403 saidIs that the only thing the bible says? Dont you think these people called on Jesus name? Sure they did but Jesus condemned them

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:21-23 KJV)
Jesus is saying that you need to do a little more than just call His name.
Saved DOES NOT MEAN eternal life. Paul made that point very very clear. To the saved born again Christian Saints, Paul repeatedly told these saved Christians that they will NOT inherit the Kingdom of God unless they lived righteously. Cherry picking the bible is the road to death.
