Yes, but not one size fits all. This is the problem with christians as well.

Take someone like Agerg. You think the same stuff is going to work on him as everyone else?

I know you think you are telling it like it is, and that's fine, but where to from here? (I hope it's not the same ol',same ol'πŸ˜‰

We gots to be more compassionate.

Give a d is or that- when it is neither.

So where to from here?

Surely not the science forum😳
One size does fit all when it is concerned with true spirituality -because the truth for you is the truth for me and everyone else.

There is not a truth for one person and a different truth for another because we are all in the same world and all have the same problems..

Vedanta Sutra uses this quite often.

It seems to have stuck with me because it describes the karmis position quiet well.

it says something about their lack of spiritual enlightenment as well. no wonder you turned out spiritually bankrupt.

I have never tried to replace Dasa's beliefs which include the abuse-strewn assertion that no one is "spiritual" unless they submit to the "authority" of the Vedic teachings. Do you think he is right or wrong?
It doesn't matter what I think. I know nothing so clearly you know something I don't.

I think Frank Zappa first said it about religon, ie. "one size does not fit all".

He was right. Look at us - me , you and rvsakhadeo. We are supposed to be representing Vedic religon and all 3 of us are like chalk and cheese.

Like chanting for example. I've seen those made Hare's rushing around chanting their heads off, even when it's internal, and I can dig that. But thats not what I do when I goto the temple. Never will.
Old fashioned Zen meditation and a bit of yoga in the morning is all the "spiritual" practice I do.

I think it is mad to think that we're all the same, even if we do all return to the same God head

Yes, if God is infinite then there are infinite paths that end and begin from God.

It's because animals are not as "evolved" as the human race. πŸ˜›

I did not say we are all the same.

I said we all have the same problems and that the truth for you applies to me as well.

Yes. So , it is my contention that you must follow whatever path you are on to it's logical end.
Either it leads you back to god, or you scrap it cause you find out it is illogical (wrong).
Lots of problems with misinformation /disinformation here.

I started a thread about chopping and changing religons but didn't get any bites , so .. I guess my point was so good that no one could add anything to it πŸ˜€
..or I am just getting ignored πŸ˜€

Yes...and no. It's a paradox (a real conversation killer for most)

Some have learnt some lesson already (perhaps in past lives), and hence understand inherintly certain spiritual teachings whereas other will have to work hard on the same "problems".
