Evil can be a relative term.
Is it evil to constantly provide food, clothing, etc to someone or some group but not do something about remedying their situation ?
Was it evil when states in the US, faced with economic problems, drasticly cut mental health budgets resulting in tens of thousands of mentally ill being placed out on the streets ?
Evil most definitely exists. The Boston bombers? Pure evil. The Ohio kidnappers that kept 3 girls in the house for 10 years, raping them and impregnating them? Pure evil.
No other way to define it. I'm sure some of the tree huggers around here would like to blame society or the abuses these poor saps suffered as children but, sorry. That doesn't cut it. Only a truly evil person could commit the atrocities they did, with satisfaction and a smile afterward.

I have said, "Evil is the opposite of good. So find out what good is and do good instead of evil." Do you think it is good to play the blame game? Does that really do any good?

Sociopaths are a scourge upon humanity.
Would it be evil to permanently eliminate such people ? I think not.
